The Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia organizes the Master of Science Program (MSC) entitled “Welding Engineering and Non Destructive Inspection (Master of Science – MSc in Welding Engineering and Non Destructive Inspection)” in accordance with the provisions of Law 4485/2017.
The proposed master’s degree program is innovative because it emphasizes specialization in the fields of welding and non-destructive testing of materials and constructions in order to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for the construction industry and especially the hydrocarbon transportation and management industry emphasizing the utilization and application of new technologies.
The specific program covers the needs of the labor market in Greece, but also in the wider international area.
Part of the educational material has been compiled by the scientific team of the Hellenic Welding Institute (WGI) and the Postgraduate students, with additional training from the Institute, can participate in the exams for obtaining the Postgraduate International Diploma of Welding Engineer.
